Happy Birthday!!!

If you know me, even slightly, you know that I have a dog and that I take a ridiculous amount of pictures of her. Today is her 5th birthday and I can honestly say that I can't imagine a life without her. She has been my friend, shoulder to cry on and the best snuggle buddy a girl could ask for.  She also brings so much joy to my life! Today we went for a really long walk, had a mini birthday cake and later my boyfriend is going to give her a filet of salmon for dinner. Yes… she is a little spoiled. :P

Happy Birthday Indie!!

Come Say Hello!

One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet so many amazing couples who are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. Everyone has a unique story about how they met or what the proposal was like and such creative ideas regarding the design of their wedding. I have a habit of setting up meetings with my clients that should last about half an hour but end up turning into an hour…. two hours….. occasionally three hours, especially if there is coffee involved.

I would love to spend some time with you, my future clients! Come visit our booth on April 8th, 9th, or 10th at Toronto's Bridal Show. The show will be full of a variety of vendors, fashion shows, and my favourite… FREE CAKE!

Bridal Show Hours are …

Friday        5pm - 9pm

Saturday   10am - 7pm

Sunday      10am - 6pm

Located at The Enercare Centre Hall C (formally known as The Direct Engergy Centre)               100 princes' Blvd #1, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3

Happy Easter!

Wishing you the happiest Easter weekend!

Easter Eggs

If you are looking for a DIY Easter project, these naturally died eggs are great! Listed below are the instructions on how to create the dyes, prep the eggs and the materials you will need.

What you will need

  • 3 cups of red cabbage
  • 2 cups of yellow onion skins
  • 1 cup coffee
  • white vinegar
  • 12 eggs
  • leaves & flowers
  • Nylons

Place the flowers and foliage on the eggs and wrap them tightly with the nylon. Place the cabbage, onion skins and coffee, with a tablespoon of white vinegar, in 3 separate pots and fill them with water. Bring the water to a boil for 5-10 minutes to allow the colours to become vibrant. Gently sit the eggs in the boiling water and leave them for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the eggs to sit in the cooling water for 30 minutes to an hour. The longer you leave the eggs the more vibrant the colours.

Our Surprise Vineyard Was Featured!

Sheri and Steven's wedding at Vineland Estates Winery has been one of my favourite weddings to date. Not only was their wedding a fantastic day filled with lots of love and laughter it was also beautifully designed. With the help of their wedding planner, Meagan, from Weddings Tied With Lace, Sheri and Steven put together a wonderful community of very talented vendors.

From the gorgeous Blooms to the stunning Candy Table, Sheri & Steven gave importance to every detail and it truly shows.  Some of their Vendors included …
